Cae Post works with many businesses in the leisure and tourism industry in Powys which appreciate the convenience and flexibility we offer. Could your organisation benefit from our trade waste and recycling services?
As an attractive rural county, Powys supports a greater than average number of leisure and tourism organisations, and tourists come from all over the UK and further afield to visit our beautiful countryside. This influx of visitors does of course create an increase in waste, and businesses looking after tourists need to deal with this.
Flexible and convenient
Cae Post has lots of experience in the tourism sector and our customers tell us that they value the flexibility and convenience of the service we provide. As the industry is often mainly seasonal, with a focus on the spring and summer months, as well as Christmas time, the waste and recycling requirements of businesses fluctuate throughout the year.
At Cae Post, we provide trade waste and recycling collections when our customers need them, with more regular visits in the busy months and fewer or even no collections in the quiet off-season. We can collect as often – or as infrequently – as our customers want. We can also be flexible – if our customers get a surge in visitors and need extra collections, we will do our best to accommodate them at short notice.
We realise that not all our customers need the same service for 52 weeks of the year, so we work with them to provide the service they need, when they need it.
Supporting social enterprise
We provide a Controlled Waste Note as part of our service and, for caravan sites, campsites and other public premises, we can produce leaflets for the owners to inform their customers what they need to do about recycling. What’s more, by using Cae Post, you will be supporting a social enterprise which provides work opportunities for disadvantage people.
We have recently welcomed on board a number of organisations in the tourism industry including The Pines Caravan Park near Llandrindod Wells, Seren Bach Campsite near Hay-on-Wye, Eco Retreats near Machynlleth, Castle Pren Lodges near Llanbister and the Wynnstay Arms Hotel in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant.
Clare from want to canoe?, which offers canoe and kayaking trips on the beautiful River Wye, said: “We started using Cae Post for all our recycling at our busy canoe centre in Hay-on-Wye back in 2014 and it’s been fantastic from the outset.”
We have also introduced a food waste recycling service which may be of interest to businesses and organisations in the leisure and tourism industry in Powys, and if you would like to find out about our full range of services, click here.
