Cae Post offers a tailor-made waste and recycling service for small businesses in Powys and North Shropshire and dozens of shops and independent businesses have signed up for our collections over the last few months.
Some of the organisations that have joined us recently include Ian Lewis Blinds in Llandrindod Wells, Playhouse Day Nursery in Builth Wells, Richard’s Body Shop in Newtown and Precious Earth in Knighton. We are delighted to welcome them – and many others – on board and we look forward to working with them.
At Cae Post, we pride ourselves on delivering a service which meets the individual needs of our customers. Our collections can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly and we provide different types and sizes of collection containers to suit your premises and storage space. We know from what our customers tell us that our prices are very competitive and, with our smaller collection vehicles, we can access most rural locations.
The materials we collect for recycling include paper, cardboard, plastics (including film), metals, foil, textiles, household size batteries, CDs and glass – and if we can’t recycle it, we will dispose of it safely and in an environmentally-friendly way. Within the price of our service, we provide a Controlled Waste Note, which is a legal requirement to show that, as a business, you are using a registered waste carrier and disposer with a site licence. Other service providers may charge extra for this.
We also offer confidential shredding, so if you need to dispose of unwanted documents, but haven’t the time to do it yourself, then we can help!
Cae Post is a charity and social enterprise and, as well as offering flexible and affordable waste and recycling collections, we provide employment and volunteering opportunities for people who may otherwise struggle to find work.
General Manager of Cae Post, Sue Packer, said: “Cae Post continues to expand its trade waste and recycling collection services across Powys and North Shropshire and we now have over 400 business customers. As a social enterprise, our profits go towards providing employment for disadvantaged people in our local community and, by using our services, you are supporting us in this goal.”
